Designed by home-grown Adelaide golf course architect, H.L Rymill, Kooyonga Golf Club is a wonderful example of a traditional style golf course laid out on a sandy, undulating parcel of land in the sandbelt, located 15 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD. Kooynonga is a Par 72 championship layout that hasy hosted five Australian Opens, nine South Australian Opens and eight National Amateur Championships. Few changes to Rymill’s routing have taken place since it opened but current architects Crafter and Mogford have enhanced the beauty and playability of the course in recent years. Consistently rated amongst top golf courses in Australia, the Club has long been recognised for its superb conditioning and playability all year round. Kooyonga provides an outstanding golfing experience and is a ‘must play’ course. Kooyonga is currently ranked the No. 22 course in Australia.
